This site comes to you straight from Big Idea Productions, where we’re also hard at work bringing you VeggieTales, 3-2-1 Penguins! and Larryboy movies, videos, books, music and more. Like many of you, we believe that too much of today's popular media is having a negative impact on kids' values and behaviors -- in effect making your job as a parent harder. We further believe, though, that media filled with the values and lessons of the Bible can have an equally positive impact, supporting, rather than undermining, your parenting.
That’s why Big Idea exists and that's what BigIdeaFun.com is all about! This site is our most ambitious online effort yet, and it’s here to help make the Internet a better place for your kids.
When we launched BigIdea.com (our very first Web site) back in 1998, we knew that we wanted to make a site where kids could play online without being bombarded by violence, inappropriate language, or aggressive advertising messages. We knew we wanted to build a kids’ site that parents can trust, where they know that their kids are getting positive messages and Judeo-Christian values along with their action games, brain-bending puzzlers and interactive stories.
We’ve always had games for kids to play - but now, those games have a home of their own! And we made BigIdeaFun.com to be the kind of site we’d want our own kids to visit. It’s a fun, safe place for kids to interact with all the Big Idea characters they love. And it’s a place where they can learn about the new stuff we're working on without being bombarded by high-pressure marketing messages. (And in a world where kids have become a highly sought after demographic, we think that’s pretty important!)
BigIdeaFun.com is also a place where you and your kids can play together. You’ll find games on the site that even the littlest mouse clicker can play, plus some more elaborate games that your older kids will love. We've got activities that can be printed out for some offline, parent-assisted fun, and our interactive stories make a great "read together" activity!
